GDP – The Latest Numbers for Q3
Whenever market analysts try to make investment projections they frequently rely on the Government’s Bureau of Economic Analysis’ Real GDP (Gross Domestic Product) reports in an attempt to determine long and short-range investment strategies. Here is the latest number, and it has surprised many. The statistics are a combination, and measure, of personal expenditures including increases and decreases over each quarter.
GM Announces an all-Electric Vehicle Future
Here’s what Mary Bara, CEO of GM has recently said; “We want to put everyone in an EV, and we believe we have what it takes to do it. Beyond the societal benefits of an all-electric, zero-emissions future, we are going to drive an amazing ownership experience for our customers.” Watch out Tesla! Of course, Mary Barra’s statement is extremely ambitious for an auto manufacturer who has had a century of manufacturing gasoline driven engines.
What is the Fed’s Definition of the “Money Supply”?
It seems as though we know very little about how the Money Supply, as defined by The FED, affects personal investment and purchasing decisions. However, an expanding or increasing amount of money, in any economy, is judged by many, to be inflationary and thus creates questions about what direction and where people should invest for their futures.
